Do you handle the fabrication and installation of stone?
What are pits in natural stone?
Pits in natural stone occur naturally due to its crystalline structure. They are small spaces between mineral crystals that can be slightly visible. During the finishing process, steps are taken to minimize their appearance, but they cannot be entirely eliminated in all stone types. Pits will not worsen over time or with regular use.
What are fissures in natural stone?
Fissures appear as hairline cracks on the surface of the stone but are not structural defects. They result from the natural heating and cooling processes that formed the stone over millions of years. Fissures will not expand or compromise the integrity of the stone.
What are the different types of surface finishes?
